SideStream masks have been developed for adult and pediatric patients and are recommended for use with SideStream high-efficiency nebulizers to improve drug delivery. SideStream masks are reusable and contoured to fit the face.
They enable faster treatment times with SideStream Disposable Nebulizers that deliver 2.5 ml of medication in just 7 minutes. The reusable Sidestream offers better therapy for the patient with minimal administration effort. It can be used for 6 months before needing to be replaced.
The disposable Sidestream can be used in the same way as the reusable Sidestream, for no longer than 2 weeks. This reusable mask attaches to the nebulizer with a swivel connector. It is recommended for patients over 6 years of age. The Active Venturi system increases output and speeds up treatment time by using 5 aerosol-producing jets instead of 1, providing additional flow to the patient of up to 16L/m.
