The Thera-Trainer Verto is a dynamic standing frame for postural control and balance training in a fall-safe environment. It is suitable for patients who are unable to stand independently and/or who lack trunk control and lower limbs strength. It enables active, anticipatory and reactive work on balance, improving mobility and motor coordination.
With the Thera-Trainer Verto, patients with little or no trunk stability can exercise effectively and safely. Exercising while standing makes breathing easier, stimulates circulation and metabolism. Due to its balance unit, this device allows patients to maintain and improve their mobility and balance.
Verticalization in immobilized patients is necessary to prevent the development of respiratory diseases such as pneumonia, pressure ulcers and disuse contractures. Verticalization is beneficial for stimulating proprioception, improving bone density and respiratory capacity. Verto is the ideal solution for early, easy, effective and safe verticalization of patients after a coma or surgery.
For specific therapeutic goals such as balance, upper body stability and mobility, the Thera-Trainer Balo or Coro should be used as a progression or replacement for this device.
