Macroplastique® for Stress Urinary Incontinence is an injectable soft tissue bulking agent used to treat adult female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) due to an intrinsic sphincter deficiency. The soft, textured Macroplastique implants are made of solid silicone elastomer and suspended in a bioexcretable, water-soluble carrier gel.
Also indicated for treating men with SUI usually after a TURP or radical prostatectomy. Macroplastique can also treat vesicoureteral reflux.
