The Neopuff newborn T-piece resuscitator is an easy-to-use resuscitator suitable for delivery rooms, nurseries, operating rooms, transport, neonatal special care units and neonatal ICUs. Neopuff is a manually operated, gas-powered resuscitator designed to provide babies with breathing at a set flow rate with consistent peak inspiratory pressure (PIP) and positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP).
Neopuff can accept and administer oxygen concentrations from 21% to 100% from a flow meter or mixer. The T-piece circuit can be connected to infant resuscitation masks or endotracheal tubes.
The fast-acting pressure gauge allows constant confirmation of the mask seal and the PIP and PEEP administered, as well as a maximum pressure relief valve that prevents the accidental delivery of excessively high pressures.
Consistent PEEP can be administered to assist breathing during transportation or ventilator circuit changes.
The Neopuff resuscitator has a medical-grade pressure gauge that is accurate and easy to read, and can be mounted on a pole, rail, wall, baby warmer or incubator. The operator’s experience, training, level of concentration and fatigue do not affect the pressures administered.
