Nebulization, carried out through aerosol therapy or inhalation therapy, consists of the administration of saline and/or medication in microparticles by inhalation, indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases such as asthma, bronchitis and COPD. The treatment helps to maintain humidity in the airways and to administer drugs such as bronchodilators and mucolytics.
