Urodynamic studies consist of investigating the functioning of the lower urinary tract. Depending on the associated symptoms, the urologist may suggest different types of urodynamic tests. These tests are usually performed on patients who have symptoms of the lower urinary tract, also known as LUTS, which include frequent urination, sudden urge to urinate, increased number of nighttime urinations, urinary retention, or incomplete bladder emptying.
