DUOLITH® SD1 »ultra« represents a modular concept that meets the growing demands of medical practice by combining treatment, diagnosis, information, and navigation. It allows you to combine focal shock waves, radial shock waves, high-frequency vibration therapy, vacuum therapy, and an ultrasound module.
The FALCON® high-performance handpiece allows the radial module to be operated independently of the control unit. All treatment parameters such as pressure, frequency, and number of pulses can be adjusted and consulted directly on the handpiece’s display operational panel.
Focal shock waves are intended for treating areas close to the surface or deep within the body. The SEPIA® handpiece makes direct patient treatment easier and more efficient, with all control elements integrated into the handpiece itself.
The optional vibration therapy with the V-ACTOR®»HF« handpiece and vacuum therapy with VACU-ACTOR® technology are ideal complements to shock wave therapy.
Identifying the pain area or injury is a prerequisite for achieving the most effective treatment. Therefore, STORZ MEDICAL offers the option of an integrated ultrasound imaging system with color Doppler for DUOLITH® SD1 »ultra«, combining diagnosis and treatment in a single system.
All adjustments to locate the treatment area and optimally represent it with ultrasound images can be stored directly on the screen. Ultrasound images can be stored in the integrated patient management system and retrieved for future sessions.
