An innovative incubator with an integrated embryo monitoring system.
Geri® is a compact modular benchtop incubator that incorporates timelapse imaging to capture critical stages of embryo development. Designed to offer individualized, undisturbed incubation, Geri® provides stable culture conditions in an ideal environment.
Genea’s Geri has six built-in individual incubators/cameras, each independently controlled, for storing and preserving embryos close to body temperature.
Each individual chamber has its own camera, which captures up to 11 focal planes.
Should any of the cameras need to be repaired, it can be exchanged independently of the others, thus minimizing downtime.
Geri® has a gas purification function to flood the camera and speed up the process of restoring optimum gas levels. Each chamber also has its own CO2 sensor, monitoring its concentration. The chambers can be humidified with the Geri® Water Bottle, reducing evaporation of the culture media and minimizing changes in osmolarity levels.
The chamber has built-in redundancies so that even if one of the two pairs of heating elements fails, the temperature is maintained by the other pair of heating elements.
The Geri Dish® has 16 micro-reservoirs for individual embryo tracking, giving the Geri® a capacity to store 96 embryos.
The Geri® software is built with a modular approach. Embryos can be viewed in Geri® itself or images can be transferred to the Geri Connect® server to be stored and played back using Geri Connect and Geri Assess software. It offers the possibility of sharing these images with patients to make their journey a more personalized experience than ever before.
Geri® allows you to monitor the environment of each chamber and control incubation conditions in real time to ensure that the ideal conditions for embryo growth are achieved.
