The InBody 380 goes beyond weight and BMI and measures the amount of lean mass the user has in each body segment. With these values, the user can check how their body composition is evolving, helping them make decisions about changing their diet, training routines and lifestyle changes.
The InBody 380 is a transportable device with 3 evaluation frequencies, providing greater precision and reliability of results. With this, this equipment can obtain results regarding fat mass percentage, lean mass percentage, resting energy expenditure, and visceral fat percentage. It can also obtain values such as the Extracellular Water/Total Body Water Ratio and the Phase Angle and Impedance.
The test is easy and safe – no statistical data or empirical equations. Only impedance is used to determine body composition results, i.e., no empirical estimates such as sex or age are used to predict body composition.
