Macroplastique® for Stress Urinary Incontinence is an injectable soft tissue bulking agent used to treat adult female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) due to an intrinsic sphincter deficiency. The soft, textured Macroplastique implants are made of solid silicone elastomer and suspended in a bio excretable, water-soluble carrier gel.

Also indicated for treating men with SUI usually after a TURP or radical prostatectomy. Macroplastique can also treat vesicoureteral reflux.

  • Non-degradable, non-resorbable.
  • Developed exclusively to create an excellent open matrix for collagen deposition.
  • Average implant size: 140 µm, with most implants between 120 and 600 µm.
  • No evidence of migration in clinical studies or histological examinations of tissue explants.
  • Initial bolus size maintained even after carrier gel excretion.
  • Controlled and precise procedure.
  • The administration device guarantees a controlled and precise implantation procedure.
  • Suspension of the implants in the carrier gel facilitates the injection of Macroplastique.
  • Ready to use: no special mixing or storage required.
