POWERbreathe KH2 is an advanced electronic device, intended for training and evaluating the inspiratory muscles in patients with respiratory difficulties, including asthma, COPD, neuromuscular and cardiac diseases. It is widely used by healthcare professionals and can also be used at home under medical supervision.
POWERbreathe KH2 is indicated for the treatment of patients with dyspnea and respiratory conditions such as asthma, cystic fibrosis, bronchitis, emphysema, and even neuromuscular and cardiac diseases. Through an electronically controlled quick response valve, it creates resistance during inspiration.
This resistance training targets the respiratory muscles, especially the diaphragm and intercostal muscles, to adapt and become stronger and more resistant to fatigue. As a result, patients experience a reduction in shortness of breath, a greater tolerance to physical exertion and a better quality of life.
The device automatically adapts the resistance and provides results in real time through the Breath-Link Medic software, displaying parameters such as Maximum Inspiratory Pressure (MIP), Peak Inspiratory Flow (PIF), volume, among others. The POWERbreathe KH2 is suitable both for use with disposable filters in clinical environments and for home use, allowing patients’ respiratory progress to be monitored continuously.
