Q-BOX from COSMED is an advanced system for corporal plethysmography. It offers precise static lung volume measurements, resistance, and airway conductance, ideal for detailed lung function evaluation.
The Q-Box’s unique, high-quality components, high-precision pneumotachograph and super-fast analyzers guarantee accurate results. The Q-Box uses body plethysmography to measure lung volumes (TLC, RV, TGV) and airway resistance (RAW, GAW) quickly and accurately. The large cabin volume and two handles allow easy and comfortable access for both adults and patients with reduced mobility.
The cabin’s large volume (1040 liters), the seat with high and adjustable weight support, the low base height (9.5 cm from the ground) and the two side handles allow easy and comfortable access for both adults and people with reduced mobility.
The system also includes spirometry and the ability to perform lung diffusion (DLCO) with rapid CO-CH4 sensors and the forced oscillation technique (FOT) to assess respiratory mechanics.
The Q-Box is compatible with OMNIA Software developed by COSMED to help healthcare professionals provide the highest standards of patient care.
