The THERA-Trainer Bemo is a cycle ergometer capable of performing passive, assisted or active movements for the lower or upper limbs. Ideal for promoting early mobility in bedridden and/or severely affected patients in rehabilitation and intensive care units. It is also ideal for use during dialysis and for cardiorespiratory rehabilitation.
The THERA-Trainer Bemo has been specially developed for the mobilization of bedridden and critically ill patients. Early mobilization improves not only the functional results of these patients, but also their state of consciousness through an appropriate exercise plan, reducing the duration of intensive hospitalization. With Bemo, the healthcare professional can mobilize the patient effortlessly, adjusting quickly and individually to each patient.
International guidelines recommend that patients be mobilized twice a day, for at least 20 minutes, in the first three days of admission to Intensive Care Units (ICUs).
