Flowstar is a compact digital flow meter designed for practical flow studies. Analysis starts automatically when bladder emptying begins. Flow and volume can be adjusted. It comes attached to a thermal printer.

It enables uroflowmetry measurements and analysis, Siroky flow rate nomograms and automatic analysis. When taking a measurement with Flowstar, the analysis starts automatically when the patient starts emptying their bladder. The flow and volume scale can be adjusted and the pre- and post-flow time are user selectable.

The results of Siroky's nomograms can be printed out to diagnose normal or obstructed urinary flow in men.

The integrated printer allows Siroky flow charts to be made to diagnose urinary obstruction. Flowstar's lightweight thermal printing unit is wired and can be up to 10 meters away from the uroflow sensor. The digital weight sensor can be mounted on a height-adjustable uroflow holder and/or placed under a urination chair.
