The new Modulith® SLX-F2 “FD21” combines modern, innovative and efficient X-ray imaging with non-invasive shockwave treatment from STORZ MEDICAL. The 21 cm x 21 cm X-ray panel detector enables excellent imaging and rapid positioning of the calculation in the effective focus of therapy, as well as reliable in situ fiável durante o tratamento.

The integrated shockwave lithotripter completes all the requirements of a modern urological x-ray workstation. This medical device offers its users all the medical instruments needed for any type of intervention in the treatment of kidney stones in a safe and convenient way.

Additional imaging methods, such as ultrasounds that are required for endourological interventions, can be viewed in parallel. For use as an endourological X-ray workstation, the X-ray detector is rotated into position under the table creating sufficient working space above the patient with an unlimited field of view on the high-resolution image monitors and free access to the table.

Thanks to the cylindrical design of the STORZ MEDICAL therapeutic coil, the stone can always be visualized in situ on the central axis of the therapeutic head – even during shockwave treatment – regardless of whether an anteroposterior (AP) fluoroscopic projection or ultrasound localization is performed.

The unique 180° rotation facility of the stationary X-ray system allows rapid conversion between endourological and shockwave configuration. This optimizes the changeover time between the different procedures and reduces waiting times for patients and staff.
